Ideal opportunity for college students and recent graduates interested in social work or related fields such as psychology, human services, human development, speech and language disorders, special education, etc.
Responsibilities:
Work one on one at our center or in the clients’ (2-21 years) home to provide effective therapy to teach new skills and decrease problematic behavior as directed by behavioral therapist and licensed supervisor
Flexible part-time hours with the opportunities to increase hours
Receive initial and ongoing paid training in the application of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapeutic techniques
Provide energetic, enthusiastic, and playful interactions with the clients while receiving ongoing support and supervision
Maintain respectful demeanor, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality at all times
Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and proof of insurance
Must pass a caregiver background check
Must be able to sit on floor, move around, lift and/or maneuver up to 50lb child
Must be able to swiftly and effectively respond to aggressive behaviors utilizing learned behavior management techniques
Prior experience working with children on the autism spectrum is highly preferred but not required as we will train the right candidate

Innovative Counseling, Inc provides behavior modification therapy which encourages growth, skill development, and problematic behavior reduction while working one on one with children on the autism spectrum at our center or in their homes. Ideal opportunity for graduates in social work or related fields such as psychology, human services, human development, speech and language disorders, special education, etc.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a cooperative and professional working relationship with clinical team and families to ensure client progression
Model and ensure respectful demeanor, professional boundaries, and compliance with agency policies and procedures
Assess clients' current developmental functioning level using approved curricula
Develop and implement individualized treatment plan and behavior support plan based on assessment with collaborative input of the licensed supervisor
Design and implement approved programming with clients
Coordinate the collection and analysis of data related to treatment programming and behavior plans
Train, monitor and mentor behavior technicians assigned to your cases
Evaluate behavior technicians’ performance and provide feedback to ensure quality and consistency of treatment
Qualifications:
Must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in a human services or related discipline
Must have at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models consistent with best practices
Must have a solid understanding of autism and behavioral principles
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and proof of insurance
Must pass a caregiver background check

In-Home Psychotherapy Program

We are growing our In-Home Psychotherapy team and are currently hiring part-time starting in summer and full-time starting in fall for team members in the Green Bay and Fox Valley area!
About the Program
Our Intensive In-Home Psychotherapy program supports children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses who are experiencing significant emotional or behavioral challenges in multiple areas of life, including:
School
Community settings
Peer relationships
Family relationships
Legal involvement
Responsibilities
Provide in-home psychotherapy services to children and adolescents experiencing significant mental health, emotional, and behavioral concerns
Provide parenting support and family therapy
Collaborate with treatment team members to: Develop treatment plans, Coordinate sessions, Organize scheduling for assigned cases
Complete timely and accurate case notes and documentation
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field and at least 1,000 hours of experience working with children experiencing emotional or behavioral concerns
Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in a behavioral science field
Post-Master’s APSW, LPC-IT
Position Details
Job Types: Full-time and Part-time
Pay: Master’s Degree starting at $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible scheduling coordinated by the therapy team
Benefits: Available for both full-time and part-time employees; eligibility and offerings vary by position and hours worked. Supervision for 3,000 hour providers, covered liability insurance.
