Autism and Behavioral Treatment Technician

Ideal opportunity for college students and recent graduates interested in social work or related fields such as psychology, human services, human development, speech and language disorders, special education, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Work one on one at our center or in the clients’ (2-21 years) home to provide effective therapy to teach new skills and decrease problematic behavior as directed by behavioral therapist and licensed supervisor
  • Flexible part-time hours with the opportunities to increase hours
  • Receive initial and ongoing paid training in the application of applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapeutic techniques
  • Provide energetic, enthusiastic, and playful interactions with the clients while receiving ongoing support and supervision
  • Maintain respectful demeanor, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality at all times
  • Complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Must pass a caregiver background check
  • Must be able to sit on floor, move around, lift and/or maneuver up to 50lb child
  • Must be able to swiftly and effectively respond to aggressive behaviors utilizing learned behavior management techniques
  • Prior experience working with children on the autism spectrum is highly preferred but not required as we will train the right candidate

Autism and Behavioral Treatment Therapist

Innovative Counseling, Inc provides behavior modification therapy which encourages growth, skill development, and problematic behavior reduction while working one on one with children on the autism spectrum at our center or in their homes. Ideal opportunity for graduates in social work or related fields such as psychology, human services, human development, speech and language disorders, special education, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain a cooperative and professional working relationship with clinical team and families to ensure client progression
  • Model and ensure respectful demeanor, professional boundaries, and compliance with agency policies and procedures
  • Assess clients' current developmental functioning level using approved curricula
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plan and behavior support plan based on assessment with collaborative input of the licensed supervisor
  • Design and implement approved programming with clients
  • Coordinate the collection and analysis of data related to treatment programming and behavior plans
  • Train, monitor and mentor behavior technicians assigned to your cases
  • Evaluate behavior technicians’ performance and provide feedback to ensure quality and consistency of treatment

Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in a human services or related discipline
  • Must have at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models consistent with best practices
  • Must have a solid understanding of autism and behavioral principles

Intensive In-Home Psychotherapy Program

Licensed Clinical Therapists- LCSW, LPC, LMFT (Full and Part-time)

Currently accepting applications for Full and Part-time Positions

Minimum Requirements:

Must be, MA Certified, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Counselor. Possible consideration for those holding Qualified Treatment Trainee (QTT, APSW, LPC-IT) with at least 2,000 hours of experience working with children and families. In-Home Psychotherapy locations in Brown, Calumet, and Outagamie counties.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Job:

  • Provide in-home therapy to children and adolescents experiencing significant mental health, behavioral, and/or emotional concerns.
  • Provide parenting support and family therapy.
  • Responsible for oversight of therapy, developing treatment plans with the family, planning of sessions, and organization of scheduling.
  • Assumes leadership role for Second Team Member.
  • Provide collaboration with school staff, psychiatrists, and other service providers to ensure coordination of care.
  • Responsible for case notes and quarterly progress reports for each case.
Clinical Therapist - APSW, LPC-IT (Green Bay and Fox Valley) Full and Part-time

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelor Degree in a behavioral science and has 2,000 hours of experience working with emotional/behavior concerns with children, or currently in a Master’s Program or post Masters Qualified Treatment Trainee (QTT, APSW, LPC-IT) with 1,000 hours of experience working with emotional/behavioral concern with children.
